Me
My name is Jonna.
I am a Christian, because of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  I strive to follow Him and keep Him as the Lord of my life.  I can narrow my life and passion for ministry down to one word: Family.
I am so thankful for my own family.

I have an amazing, godly husband.  We have been blessed with three children who leave us awestruck on a daily basis.  Our family is also in the process of adopting a little girl from China.
Family is a beautiful blessing, and I believe God designed us for these special relationships.

I am excited and nervous about this outlet for sharing.
Excited - because I love God and scripture.  When I learn something new or feel a scripture sink in, "His word burns in my heart like a fire". (Jeremiah 20:9)
Nervous - because I don't take this lightly.

This is basically a Bible Study Blog.  I am sharing the bits and pieces that God has been speaking to me.  Many of these things, especially the Foundation, have been building over time.  I get so excited when God shows me something new in scripture or makes a connection among scriptures I never realized before.  Sometimes I am in the midst of study but often I'm just driving down the road or putting a little one to sleep, when God starts pouring in a message.  His word has a way of seeping in, and sometimes, for me, application of scripture comes over time in random moments.
I have a mixture of scribbles and entries in notebooks, because I try to write down things He reveals as soon as I can.

This blog is an extension of my notebooks.  God has been leading me to a compilation.  This has become a good starting point.  I can easily share with anyone who might be interested, and if nothing else, I have a place to organize my thoughts.
