One True God

God is God.
The ONE and only.

This page could go on for days, exclaiming the glory of my God!
Very simply - God is God, and He alone is worthy of our praise.
He is perfect.  He is Holy.  He is set apart.
He is the creator of the universe, of our world, of us.

Isaiah 45:5-7  I am the Lord.  There is no other God.  I have prepared you even though you do not know me, so all the world from east to west will know there is no other God.  I am the Lord, and there is no other.  I am the one who creates the light and makes the darkness.  I am the one who sends good times and bad times.  I, the Lord, am the one who does these things.

Psalms 139:7-12 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.

The truly amazing part - God loves us.

Psalm 86:5

  For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

Even though we don't deserve it...  we chose to leave Him...
He pursues us.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
