Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE!  - John 14:6

The Way -
The Way describes Jesus as our connection back to God.  He is the way we can come back into a full relationship with God.  Our sin destroyed our relationship.
Jesus is The Way, because He is the Son of God.  He was human, but also God.

Matthew 3: 13-17 - Jesus' Baptism
When Jesus was baptized, God spoke and the Spirit descended upon Him.  God told everyone that Jesus was His son.
And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased."

Matthew 17 - The Transfiguration
Peter, James, and John saw Jesus in a very special moment.
As the men watched, Jesus' appearance changed so that His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became dazzling white.  Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus.

Luke 19:40 - Jesus spoke boldly about Himself after riding into Jerusalem.
The crowds were worshiping Jesus and waving palm branches.  They were lifting up Jesus as the One who would rescue them.  (They didn't understand the rescue and kingdom Jesus was bringing, but they were rightfully worshiping Him.)
But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, "Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!"  Jesus replied, "If they kept quiet, the stones would cry out."
Jesus proclaimed Himself as King.  Whether or not they believed or understood, He was still King and He would be praised.

Miracles- The gospels describe so many miracles that Jesus performed.  He healed, fed thousands, raised people from the dead, and cast out demons. Only God has power to control all of these things.

The Truth -
Jesus is the Truth.

John 1:14 - Jesus is the Word
So the Word became human and lived here among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.  And we have seen His glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father.
God's word and promises all came true, were fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  He also lived out the full will and intentions of God through His obedience.

Matthew 5:17 - Jesus Fulfilsl the law
"Do not misunderstand why I have come.  I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets.  No, I came to fulfill them."
Jesus fulfilled the law, brought the Truth to life, with an obedience fueled by love.  He didn't just do the right things, He desired right.  Jesus showed us what it looks like for the law to be written on our hearts. (Jeremiah 31:33)

2 Corinthians 5:21 - Jesus is perfect
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

The Life -
Romans 6:23 -
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Peter 3:18 -
Christ also suffered when he died for our sins once and for all time.  He never sinned, but he died for sinners that he might bring us safely home to God.  He suffered physical death, but He was raised to life in the Spirit.

John 10:9 -
Yes, I am the door. Those who come in through me will be saved.

Romans 10:9-10 -
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
